Creative Group Tours

Jessie and I thoroughly enjoyed taking our 8th Grade Band to Carowinds for the first time! Chris and his team were super helpful throughout the entire planning process. They were quick to respond to any questions we had, and ultimately made the trip memorable for us as well as our chaperones and students.  We are already planning our next trip!

Chris and the team at CGT did an awesome job bringing my group down to Orlando for several days. Everything was logistically smooth, and made it easy for me as the director/teacher.

As always, we had a great experience with CGT. From the buses/drivers, all the way through the trip organization, and execution it was a great experience! We only wish there had been some way to know what the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's performance length would be (since we were expecting a longer performance). Even with the shorter concert, we were able to make the schedule work to our benefit. We will continue to be loyal customers with CGT!

GMST Fine Arts- ASO 2025

Nicely planned and paced.  You kept us moving and busy without overdoing it and without creating stress!  The staff engendered camaraderie amongst the group.  You were all friendly, informative, fun, and always smiling!  BUT never intrusive or overbearing.  Achieving that balance is not so easy, and you all did that masterfully.  The performance venues and organization was very good.  The "tour" venues were also terrific.  The first night luau was really very good and stood out as a highlight for me.  

This trip exceeded my expectations (frankly, I wasn't sure what to expect!), and that is in large measure the result of your staff and, of course, the terrific planning with Richard from NGW.

North Georgia Winds 2025

I had a wonderful experience on this tour!  I enjoyed all of the events scheduled on our amazing trip but my favorite stops were our visit to the Pearl Harbor Memorial and visiting Nut Ridge Plantation.  Our tour directors were the best! 

We had a great time.  The tour folks in Hawaii were absolutely amazing.  Very friendly and helpful.  There was always someone with us and they took care of everything.  They even worked out hospitality rooms at the end of our trip.

I can't wait to go again.

Overall the trip was a great experience for our students. We experienced a fairly significant breakdown in communication and compassion for our travelers with food allergies and restrictions. Example- a catered chick-fil-a nugget meal with chips with no alternative for the travelers that do not eat meat.  Our guide did not have a plan or seem to care much about the problem this presented. I also feel that our guide could have been more engaging and interactive with our group. His role seemed to be more about meeting us at various locations and then turning the experience over to the employees or volunteers.  My previous group travel experience has been with EF where the guides are very involved in the tour and explaining all of the history, experiences, and sights to see.  This is an area that your tour group could do some improvement in.  The hotel probably needs to be changed for the next trip. While I knew we would not have 4-star accommodations, multiple members of our group walked into rooms with significant air conditioner leaks and moldy mini-fridges.  That was disappointing after a long day of travel to not be able to settle into your room. One of our rooms should have had a roll away bed. That was not checked on by our guide and not provided by the hotel.  I will say the housekeeping staff at the hotel was very kind.  Despite the bumps, I would sign my child up for the trip again. She had a great time with her friends. 

Bramlett Elementary School 2025

We had a great time on our trip! Travel, hotel, and activities were all great. We didn't have any problems that I know about. 

The only thing I would comment on would be choosing more bus-friendly rest stops and restaurants. There was one instance in particular where we had to move roughly 50% of the students and chaperones across a large parking lot, gas station area, and a busy, two-lane plus turn lane lot entrance before entering the actual restaurant parking lot.

The trip itself was very well done.  Our youngest child had a great time.  The experience/memories will last a lifetime.
The only drawback (and this is a big one to us) was the complete lack of communication from the travel company to the parents of the attendees.  We expected at least some communication from the company on arrival/departure (we received 0 emails/texts from WeTravel) about the status of the tour.  Very very disappointing.  

Busy, fun and educational! We had a blast all the events. Every stop was great. Buses were clean, drivers were okay. They didn't want to students being loud or singing, which I get can be distracting but they are also kids. Hotel was a great location but seemed run down and we had several rooms issues with flooding, etc. 

 I would have liked more options for dietary restrictions at some of the meals. Not a fan of the buffet, would never want to eat there again. All the other good was delicious, what I could eat of it. 

Our trip was fantastic! Everything was organized and coordinated perfectly! The students and their families enjoyed themselves.

Everyone had a wonderful time despite the weather that hampered some of our plans.  Unfortunately, one of the buses broke down on our way, but a replacement came fairly quickly.  We did have to skip our lunch plans though, which was tough on the kids not being able to eat lunch until 2:30/3pm.  The hotel is super nice and a great fit for our groups.  Definitely should stay there every time!  Carowinds was fun for the kids with varying degrees to thrill rides to satisfy many types of riders.  My only reason for leaving four stars instead of five was because at our dinner stop on the way home, they gave away our tables for 150 people!  Everyone was tired and hungry by the time we arrived (on time BTW), and then to have to wait to be seated, and also spread-out all over the restaurant was disappointing.  With dinner pre-paid and pre-booked, it's unacceptable that they gave away our tables with zero explanation or notification as we did arrive on time per the schedule. 

Northwestern MS Fine Arts - Carowinds 2025

The trip was amazing! Every detail was planned and the trip ran on schedule. My daughter said that “everything” was her favorite. 

Jefferson Academy 5th Grade 2025

The bus we were on had a lot of issues: leaked water in multiple places when it rained, charging ports did not work, broken overhead bins. Communication was lacking and though we were with a big group of middle schoolers, we were all spread out at the hotel which caused some safety concerns. We did have a great time at the destination and food options were good. 

Little Mill Middle School Carowinds Trip 2025

Jilly Karel went on this trip and loved it.  It was her first time away from us, but we knew she was in great hands.  I did not receive any negative feedback from her at all.  She even mentioned that the hotel was super nice.  And of course, was happy to have Chik-fil-A.  She mentioned her feet were a little sore from all of the walking, but she had good sneakers, and this was expected.  I think she was over the 10,000 steps on the first day.  This trip was a success, and we thank everyone who helped in making it happen.  And the communication prior to the trip was exceptional.

My prepaid food vouchers did not work so I had to pay out of pocket for my group.  There was nobody to contact to address, no email or phone numbers for support. 

Mabry MS Chorus & Orchestra Six Flags 2025

On the way back the bus my daughter was on had an issue with the windows leaking. It was raining very hard and she arrived at home soaking wet from head to toe. It is absolutely unacceptable to use bus with such an issue to transport kids.

This trip with the band was wonderful. Wetravel was there throughout to make sure things went smoothly and we had all tickets and food vouchers,  etc.  I recommend them for any group travel needs you may have.

Awesome time! Darren was amazing and took great care of us- we saw so much of DC in a short span of time! Hotel was great- such a smooth, seamless trip!

My child had a great experience traveling to Disney with her school's music department. The only downside was the frequent breakdowns of the buses. This caused significant delays, and was not what I wanted as a parent concerned about my child's safety on the highway. 

Mabry Middle School Fine Arts 2025

Excellent trip and very easy to work with.

My eighth-grader really enjoyed this Disneyworld trip for his band class, even with multiple buses having mechanical difficulties (four buses total). Due to the mechanical trouble, they arrived back 2.5 hours late, 2:30am the next morning, when we were anticipating a midnight arrival. The trip, however, my son describes as "nostalgic, memorable, interesting, and lots of fun." Buses were always on time for pickup schedules (only the multi-hour interstate driving caused the buses to overheat). He and I would highly recommend WeTravel to other parents and students. The business' Customer Service was very helpful and super-quick-responsive when I send Chat Questions about payments, ticket prices, etc. We encountered no booking problems or difficulties--everything was explained very well, including trip insurance options, payment plan options, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMEND>

Fun trip, packed full of activity. Sometimes too much waiting.

Peachtree Middle School Band 2025

Our Disney World Imagination Camp trip with 25 students and 10 chaperones was excellent! The itinerary was well planned and students had a grand time. Since it was my first trip out of state with students, I had concerns. However, the travel agent including band and orchestra directors who had travelled previously before me gave me best practices for the trip with parents and students. Thank you to Mr. Plummer for taking good care of us. 

Dekalb Arts Academy Chorus & Dance 2025

For the amount of money paid for this trip the food vouchers were significantly lacking. They only provided kids meal vouchers for use in the parks for high school aged kids. In addition to the options of where kids meals were available being limited, the portion sizes were for kids under age 12. 

The trip was very well organized, good memories for the kids. I hear the tour guide was amazing!

Paige was awesome!!  We had a great time!!

We were given an experience of a lifetime! I grew up in NY and visited the city often but I saw more in those couple of days than I’ve seen visiting on my own thanks to our wonderful tour guides! Scott and Dennis were great!!

The trip was very nice, but the buses broke down SO MUCH that it really put a damper on the travel to and from Orlando. 2 of the 4 buses had to pull over several times.  Other than the buses, the trip went very smoothly with all details handled very well.

My daughter said It was really fun. They had big rollercoasters and plenty of areas designated to characters like Dr. Seuss, Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, Shrek SpongeBob, and comics.  The hotel was nice, clean and the housekeeping made an extra effort to make the room special. The breakfast was very good. It was a good trip and made a lot of great  memories with my friends and teachers that I am grateful for. 

West Hall High School Band and Chorus 2025

Our trip was extremely well planned and executed!  We had a great time and got to do and see so many great things!

My daughter raved about how much fun she and her friends had!

My son had a wonderful time with his friends they walked a city,ate the food, experienced the city light at night, and a beautiful orchestra Symphony show. Thank you to the much!!

My daughter had a great time. There were some disappointments with the hotel room on the 1st night- toilet not working and room was stifling hot. Also, on the 2nd night the bus overheated so after the Broadway show another bus came and brought everyone to a gas station where the broken down bus was so they could retrieve their items from shopping earlier in the day. Other than that the trip was a great experience for the price.

Exciting time.  Clean & comfortable accommodations.  Enjoyed the tours but would have like to have spent more time in Central Park.  Our guide, Deron, did a GREAT job.
